Greenwood Village, Colo. – Colorado State University-Global Campus is among the top universities in the country for 2015 as ranked by the U.S. News & World Report. The university is listed as #7 on the publication’s annual report for Best Online Bachelor’s Program.
This is the third consecutive year the university has been ranked in the top 20 for this category and has increased its position nine spots from its #16 ranking in 2014. CSU-Global is also ranked 53rd in Best Online Business Graduate Programs, up from # 82 in 2014.
“We are proud to be recognized among the best universities in the country through these rankings, and it is a testament to the quality of our academic programs and the dedication of our staff and faculty towards student success,” said Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker, President for Colorado State University-Global Campus. “We are constantly striving to help our students, many of whom are working adults that juggle multiple priorities and yet are able to achieve their goals by earning a degree through the flexibility, affordability, and support provided by CSU-Global”.
The annual institutional rankings provided by U.S. News & World Report are calculated by a number of weighted factors such as student engagement, faculty credentials, student services and resources, and online learning technologies. Among the thousands of programs considered, CSU-Global was highly ranked in all three of the categories for which it qualified.
CSU-Global offers quality, accredited degrees taught by knowledgeable and supportive instructors who are experts in their field. Plus, students are provided with a wide range of support resources—including 24/7 access to tutoring, library, technical support, and career services through the university’s custom-built Student Portal—to help with their academic and professional success.
“As the nation’s first 100% online fully accredited state university, CSU-Global sets the new standard for higher education and these rankings reflect that,” continued Takeda-Tinker. “We work hard to blend the high quality academic programs and student support one would expect from a public university with the forward-thinking approach and technology advancements of private enterprises focused on virtual learning.”
